Scout Zabinski's work has boldly confronted themes of “trauma and recovery, self-reflection, self-image, addiction, abuse, eating disorders, and the chaos of the mind in general.” In recent work she has sought to immortalise feelings of ecstasy and bliss on canvas, capturing fleeting moments forever. Despite the newfound optimism Zabinski experienced while creating these works, complex themes are everpresent, with her image appearing as a store product, ready to be consumed.
Zabinski’s works are included in the Beth Rudin De Woody Collection, West Palm Beach, USA and her recent solo exhibitions include ‘Now You See Me’, Seasons LA (2022) and ‘Hard and Fast’, Adhesivo Contemporary, CDMX, Mexico (2022). Her recent group shows include ‘I am Not Afraid of Ghosts’, Palazzo Tiepolo Passi, Venice (2024) and KIAF SEOUL, Carl Kostyál, Seoul (2023).
