Jordy Kerwick Australia, b. 1982

Jordy Kerwick’s visual language is defined by a distinctive interplay of domestic objects and predatory animals, art historical references and ancient iconography. His recurring motifs—king cobras, tigers, and feather-maned unicorns—conjure a vibrant mythology that bridges playful imagination with contemporary folklore.

Born in Melbourne, Australia in 1982, Kerwick now lives and works in Gaillac, France. He has exhibited extensively across the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. His work is held in numerous public and private collections worldwide. Recent highlights include an institutional exhibition at The Yorkshire Sculpture Park, UK, the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum in Madrid, Spain, and a new acquisition by The Artistic Museum of Contemporary Art (AMOCA) in Cardiff, Wales.
