Dan Flanagan (b. 1983, Madison, WI) lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. His paintings are created with an economy of line and color, oscillating between minimal abstraction and emotionally charged drawing and gesture. He received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute, and studied at the New York Studio School. Recent solo and group exhibitions have taken place at No. 4 Studio, Marvin Gardens, Victori + Mo, and Outlet Fine Art (all Brooklyn, NY), and BBQ LA (Los Angeles, CA).
