Born in Paris, France Ed Broner began to paint in the late 1980s as a graffiti artist. Now living and working in Berlin Germany as both a photographer and painter, Broner percieves his work as his personal diary – an authentic examination of the ideas and symbols in modern urban subcultures.
Broner's visual language combines influences from graffiti and Contemporary painting. By reflecting, and often subversively ironising particular aesthetics, Broner deconstructs his thematic elements with an organic and raw objectivity.
Broner has extensively exhibited his work in international public and private contexts including Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Australia.
